Merck's Animal Health division is seeking a Senior Territory Sales Representative for their Dairy Monitoring solutions. This role focuses on direct sales to dairy operations, growing sales within an assigned territory, and building relationships with farm-level management. The position requires knowledge of the dairy industry, strong sales and negotiation skills, and the ability to develop and implement account plans. The role is an individual contributor focused on driving sales of Livestock Intelligence Monitoring products and services.

What you'd actually do

  1. grow sales within assigned sales territory via direct sales to dairy operations
  2. work cooperatively with our company's Animal Health Account Managers to create target lists of dairies, action plans and execute sales
  3. establish and maintain relationships with executive offices, and through the farm level management of the dairy operations within the territory
  4. developing, negotiating, managing and growing long-term relationships and sales opportunities for Livestock Intelligence Monitoring products and services across the entire business enterprise
