Senior UI/UX Designer responsible for Armada's website and growth products, translating complex technical concepts into clear, accessible narratives. Collaborates with cross-functional teams to design user-centered solutions, focusing on user research, wireframing, prototyping, and high-fidelity mockups. Ensures accessibility standards and brand consistency.

What you'd actually do

  1. Conduct user research and usability testing to gather insights and understand user needs
  2. Create user personas, journey maps, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups for new and existing products
  3. Design intuitive and visually engaging user interfaces, ensuring a seamless user experience across platforms (web, mobile, etc.)
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and marketing, to ensure design specifications are accurately implemented and brand standards are upheld
  5. Iterate on designs based on user feedback and usability testing results

Skills

Required

  • 8+ years of experience as a UI/UX Designer, Product Designer, or similar role
  • Strong portfolio showcasing UI/UX design work across web and mobile platforms
  • Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) or equivalent tools for general design tasks
  • Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Ability to work in an agile environment and manage multiple design projects simultaneously
  • Knowledge of accessibility standards and inclusive design practices

Nice to have

  • Familiarity with user research tools (e.g., UsabilityHub, Lookback, etc.)
  • Experience with front-end development (HTML/CSS/JavaScript) is a plus
  • Understanding of latest AI tools and ability to use them to accelerate prototyping and UI/UX design workflow
