This role is for a Senior UX Writer and Content Designer focused on Google Consumer Shopping. The primary responsibility is to shape product experiences by creating useful and meaningful text, particularly for GenAI use cases. The role involves setting content strategy, partnering with product managers and engineers, developing and training models for content quality, understanding shopper needs, defining LLM-generated responses, and evaluating outputs. While the role interacts with AI models and contributes to their quality through content and evaluation, it does not involve shipping core AI models or agents as its primary deliverable. The focus is on the user-facing content and experience of AI-powered products.

What you'd actually do

  1. Partner with product leads and UX to develop and document content design for GenAI use cases, guiding teams from strategy to evaluation.
  2. Execute on content strategies by writing sample content, evaluation criteria, and prompt iterations.
  3. Define and drive UX content design frameworks for GenAI experiences, including principles, patterns, and systems.
  4. Develop strategies to improve GenAI experiences by analyzing user needs and gaps to define model behaviors and ideal responses.
  5. Lead alignment on content quality measurement while partnering with engineering and product teams to diagnose and investigate issues.
