Senior Validation Architect, Nvlink

NVIDIA NVIDIA · Semiconductors · Westford, MA

This role focuses on defining and validating advanced chip interconnects and protocols for NVLink, a core NVIDIA technology. It involves architectural modeling, testing requirements, and supporting the design through its lifecycle, from initial product requirements to post-silicon validation. The role requires significant experience in ASIC design, verification, and processor/I/O architecture.

What you'd actually do

  1. Working with other architects to define architectural modeling and testing requirements for new NVLink features
  2. Driving architectural testing requirements into lower level testbenches
  3. Implementing functional models and integrating those into fullchip and multichip environments for both architectural validation and firmware/software development
  4. Supporting and debugging tests in model, emulation, and post-silicon environments
