What you'll do...
• Collaborate with Engineering, Design, and Manufacturing teams to develop innovative engineering solutions that enable integrated vehicle systems, efficient manufacturing processes, and key styling themes • Develop and prototype concepts that improve product cost, mass, efficiency, manufacturability, serviceability, and user experience • Drive cross functional product architecture trades between vehicle subsystems (interiors, closures, chassis, thermal, powertrain, electrical distribution, etc.) to determine product direction • Identify and resolve geometrical incompatibilities between systems through first principles and concept 3D • Collaborate with engineers, designers, technicians, and suppliers to procure and build physical properties
You'll have...
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience. • 5+ years experience in automotive or related field, EV preferred • Strong engineering fundamentals, and ability to apply broadly to vehicle systems and manufacturing processes • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills with excellent written and verbal communication • Ability to adapt and thrive in a dynamic work environment • CAD proficiency in assembly and part design, FEA, and 2D drawings. Catia and 3D Experience preferred
Even better, you may have... • Experience designing and releasing mechanical and electromechanical systems • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office • Strong proficiency in Atlassian tools (Confluence, JIRA) • Strong verbal and written communication
