  1. Edit high-performing long-form YouTube content for our brands across established and emerging channels
  2. Assemble rough cuts and refine them into polished, final edits
  3. Execute pacing decisions that prioritize clarity, retention, and storytelling
  4. Collaborate with producers and strategists to interpret creative briefs and bring concepts to life
  5. Implement notes quickly and accurately across multiple feedback rounds

Skills

Required

  • 4+ years experience in professional production environment (e.g., lighting, shooting, audio recording, web production, writing), post-production environment, or broadcasting (e.g., local news)

Nice to have

  • 5+ years of professional editing experience with a strong portfolio demonstrating storytelling craft
  • Deep proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, or comparable editing software
  • Solid understanding of YouTube pacing, structure, retention tactics, and platform best practices
  • Experience editing educational, narrative, branded, or documentary-style content
  • Understanding of pacing, retention, and storytelling structure
  • Comfort working in fast-paced environments with competing client priorities and tight timelines
  • Collaborative mindset and ability to communicate clearly with producers and teams
  • Solid attention to detail and file organization skills
  • Ability to take feedback constructively and iterate quickly
  • Passion for YouTube and curiosity about what makes content perform
