Senior Web Engineer

Snowflake Snowflake · Data AI · CA-Menlo Park, United States · Marketing

Senior Web Platform Engineer responsible for Snowflake's global corporate website, built on Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) Cloud with server-side rendered React. The role involves full-stack development, contributing to an AI agent ecosystem for workflows like page creation and QA, building frontend/backend for AI-powered features (chatbots, personalized content), driving platform modernization, and integrating with external services and Snowflake's AI products. The team is actively redefining website development in an AI-native world, using AI agents and integrating AI products into the website.

What you'd actually do

  1. Ship features, fix bugs, and improve the platform daily across the full stack — React components, server-side rendering, Sling Models, OSGi services, servlets, and content APIs. This is a hands-on coding role first, with technical leadership layered on top.
  2. Contribute to the team's AI agent ecosystem: help design, build, test, and improve autonomous agents that handle page creation, QA validation, content translation, structured data generation, and other workflows that traditionally required manual engineering effort.
  3. Build frontend experiences and backend services for AI-powered features, including chatbot interfaces, automated translation, personalized content delivery, and intelligent search — leveraging Snowflake's own AI products.
  4. Drive ongoing platform modernization — caching strategies, performance optimization, and architectural improvements that keep the site fast, scalable, and future-proof.
  5. Take projects from scoping through delivery, collaborating cross-functionally with teams like SEO, Developer Relations, Product Marketing and more.
