Senior Electrical Materials & Process Engineer at Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) in Huntington Beach, CA. This role involves leading the Electrical Materials & Process (EM&P) Team to support avionics IPT design and manufacturing. Responsibilities include leading enterprise-wide teams, collaborating with SMEs, developing and improving electrical business processes, qualifying suppliers, performing root cause and corrective actions (RCCA) on material and process issues, and dispositioning electrical materials. The candidate will also collaborate with labs for evaluations, and possess knowledge in areas like conductive finishes, adhesives, lead-free mitigation, and ESD handling. The role spans the entire avionic product cycle from development through production, including mentoring early career engineers, developing deliverables, reviewing supplier deliverables, supporting designers in material selection, developing and qualifying new materials/processes, supporting PWB/CCA manufacturers, qualifying suppliers, resolving M&P issues, and representing Boeing in industry committees (IPC).

  5. Review and approve Supplier SDRL DID deliverables, (M&P Plans, Corrosion Control Plans, M&P Lists, Qualification reports, etc.)
