Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is hiring a Guidance, Navigation, and Control (GNC) Engineer to join the Sentinel program team. The role involves developing and implementing GNC algorithms, flight simulator development, test development, model verification and validation, and requirements validation for missile systems. Requires a Secret security clearance and experience with MATLAB/C++.

What you'd actually do

  1. Work in multi-disciplinary teams to develop, verify, and validate a complex 6-degree of freedom missile flight simulator.
  2. Design and implement guidance, navigation, and control (GN&C) algorithms.
  3. Develop software tools for analyzing GN&C performance
  4. Conduct system performance assessments for performance against mission requirements.
  5. Perform GN&C system and accuracy analysis of flight tests.
