Associate Mechanical Engineer/Mechanical Engineer role supporting the Sentinel Program's Command Systems Hardware Design Integration team. Responsibilities include applying ASME standards for hardware design and procurement, supporting integrated assembly design, assisting in trade studies and creating design artifacts using CAD tools, and operating in a multi-disciplinary engineering environment. Requires a Secret security clearance and ability to obtain SAP approval.

What you'd actually do

  1. Apply ASME standard processes and procedures to identify, design, and procure electrical and mechanical hardware.
  2. Support design of integrated assemblies in accordance with decomposed requirements, compliance documents, and architecture diagrams in order to support the Sentinel critical design review campaign.
  3. Assist in trade studies, Analysis of Alternatives, and create design artifacts to include 3-dimensional models and product definition packages which will be documented and released using Siemens- based Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) and modeling (NX) tools.
  4. Operate in and capture inputs from a multi-disciplinary engineering environment consisting of Systems, Software, Design, Compliance, and Hardware engineers.

  • Bachelors in Science
  • Secret security clearance
