Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking Associate/ Software Systems Engineer for the Software Factory Team. This position will be located in Roy, Utah and will support the Sentinel Program.
What You’ll Get To Do: Responsible for development and execution of automated and manual test cases to verify functional software requirements. This will include the following activities: • Assist in the design, development, and implementation of testing methods and equipment. • Test planning, execution, reporting, and integration support. • Prepare detailed test reports and support formal verification of the system. • Compile data and define changes required in test equipment, test procedures, or new test requirements. • Perform data analysis against requirements and interfaces for each software build or hardware component. • Interface with software developers and systems engineers in support of verification. • Product integration, regression, and verification testing including checkout in software test labs.

This positions standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off. This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package.
Basic Qualifications • T01: 0 years of exp with Bachelors or 04 additional years in lieu of a degree. • T02: 2 Years with Bachelors; 0 Years with Masters or 04 additional years in lieu of a degree.
Required for both levels: • Familiar with creating Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) models in Cameo or similar tool • Experience developing software projects with C++ • Must be a US citizen with an active U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance at time of application, current and within scope, with ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) approval within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business need
Preferred Qualifications
• Familiarity with Command and Launch systems and mission objectives
• Model Builder - Fundamental certification
• Experience with Atlassian Jira and Confluence tools
• Experience working in a cross-functional Scrum team
• Experience creating requirements Peer Review packages that include all artifacts required for the review

Primary Level Salary Range: $65,800.00 - $98,800.00
Secondary Level Salary Range: $79,300.00 - $118,900.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
