Manager for the Model-Based Requirements, Integration, and Architecture (MB-RIA) team on the Sentinel program, responsible for system architecture development, ensuring traceability from government needs to functional architecture and interface definition using MBSE approaches. The role involves leading a team of architects/systems engineers, managing project execution, and interfacing with customers and other engineering teams.

What you'd actually do

  1. Define what needs to be done to ensure a consistent, accurate, fully traceable, and complete system architecture model for the Sentinel program.
  2. Review technical architecture content at your level of ownership and across the program
  3. Direct efforts and priorities of a team of 8-12 architects
  4. Functionally manage a team of architects/ systems engineers (including goal setting, performance reviews, and people management)
  5. Collect status and report program architecture status and progress to senior leadership and the government customers.

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor's Degree in STEM
  • 8 years of related experience (6 with Masters)
  • Active U.S. Government Secret security clearance
  • 1 year of ICBM experience (MMIII or Sentinel)
  • 2 years of experience using MBSE tools (SysML, DoDAF, or UAFP in Cameo or Rhapsody)
  • Ability to obtain and maintain Sentinel special program access (PAR)

  • Top Secret clearance
