This role is a functional manager for a team of systems engineers supporting the Sentinel Program's Nuclear Surety team. The focus is on technical leadership, program execution, and functional management tasks, including resource allocation, risk management, and team development. It requires a Secret security clearance and experience in STEM fields.

What you'd actually do

  1. Drive execution of Nuclear Surety Scope of Work
  2. Adhere to baselined schedules and budgets
  3. Familiarity with Earned Value Management
  4. Identify, allocate, and manage program resources, including workforce planning
  5. Identify risks and opportunities and coordinate with project teams to mitigate and retire risks

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math (STEM) with at least 8 Years of related experience
  • Active U.S. Government Secret security clearance
  • Ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) approval

Nice to have

  • Active DOD Top Secret Security Clearance
  • Special Program Access
  • Master's Degree in a STEM discipline
  • Demonstrated ability to manage concurrent efforts
  • Experience as a Control Account Manager (CAM)
  • Demonstrated experience in development of Basis of Estimates (BOEs)
  • Experience working with Nuclear Surety Requirements and the Nuclear Certification process
  • Experience with risk management
  • 1+ year of leadership experience
