Northrop Grumman is seeking a Senior Manager of Program Management to lead Sentinel Post-Boost Integrated Product Team (IPT) activity. This role involves customer intimacy, coordinating staffing needs, overseeing supplier activity, managing profit & loss, developing growth strategies, executing program activities to meet financial goals, overseeing proposal preparation, and supporting the development of program management processes. The position also requires participation in governance boards, assisting engineers with change management, and leading IPT activities for flight tests and production scaling. A Secret clearance is required.

What you'd actually do

  1. Focus on developing increased customer intimacy for the customer base by leading the Flight Systems Post-Boost IPT and partnering with System Program Office (SPO) Government leadership
  2. Coordinating with SDS Engineering FHR organizations regarding current and projected staffing needs to execute IPT activity and drive employee engagement and effectiveness
  3. Partnering with SMT Leads to oversee and adjust Post-Boost IPT activity being performed by Aerojet and other key suppliers
  4. Interface with and advocate for the Post-Boost Attitude Control Module Production Operations & Manufacturing and Test leadership teams in Huntsville and Space Park to deliver maximum capability across the Sentinel program and SDS
  5. Profit & Loss management to include monitoring earned value management system metrics and compiling Monthly and Quarterly financial reports to support annual sales projections, comprehensive estimates at complete, and long range strategic plans

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor's degree and 8 years of related experience; Master's degree and 6 years of related experience or an additional 4 years of related experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Direct work experience with Department of War Government personnel
  • Demonstrable history of versatile and dynamic leadership and the ability to forge strong customer and teammate relationships and to build, maintain, and motivate a high-performance execution team
  • Strong communication skills
  • Must have an active U.S. Government DoD Secret or higher clearance at time of application, current and within scope.
