Northrop Grumman is seeking a Principal/Sr. Principal Systems Engineer for the Sentinel program, focusing on systems engineering, integration, and test. Requires a Secret clearance and experience with ICBMs and systems engineering processes.

What you'd actually do

  1. Demonstrate leadership principles – Integrity, respect, organizational, communication etc.
  2. Be proficient in the development of key system engineering artifacts such as requirement specifications and interface definition documents.
  3. Ensure appropriate coordination between SEIT and other integration teams
  4. Participate in technical planning, verification and validation development, cost and risk considerations, and requirements analyses for integrated systems

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline (STEM)
  • US Citizen
  • DoD Secret Clearance
  • Minimum 2 years working experience on ICBMs
  • Minimum 2 years Systems Engineering experience
  • Minimum 2 years of DOORS or related experience
  • Direct development experience of interface products (IRS, IDD, ICD) and requirement specifications
  • Experience with creating and executing to schedule & technical recovery plans
  • Experience working across program organizations to find solutions

  • Past/Active employment with MMIII or Sentinel Weapon Systems
  • Experience contributing towards various phases of a program lifecycle
