Northrop Grumman is seeking a Principal/Sr. Principal Systems Engineer for the Sentinel Program's Payload Re-entry System. The role involves requirements analysis, system integration, verification, validation, and supporting the full systems lifecycle. Requires a Secret clearance and experience with MBSE tools, Core Systems Engineering, and specific tools like DOORS or Cameo.

What you'd actually do

  1. Perform requirements analysis, develop source data for requirements, generate requirements verification, and help prepare test plans and procedures
  2. Participate in technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for mechanical, electrical and integrated systems
  3. Apply the principles of engineering to design components and systems using applicable standards and specifications
  4. Verify specifications and designs through modeling and simulation, test data processing, and performance analysis
  5. Support all phases of the systems lifecycle including concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal
