This role is for a Program Cost Schedule Control Analyst at Northrop Grumman, supporting the Sentinel (GBSD) Program. The primary focus is on financial and administrative support, applying Earned Value Management (EVM) principles, cost performance reporting, variance analysis, and budget/schedule management for engineering projects within the aerospace and defense sector. The position requires a Bachelor's degree with 2 years of experience in business, finance, or a related field, and the ability to obtain a Secret security clearance.

What you'd actually do

  1. Interface with the program managers, functional management, and cost account managers (CAMs) to provide financial and administrative support and analysis to meet program requirements
  2. Apply Earned Value and performance measurement baseline concepts to multiple contracts for control accounts within an engineering Integrated Product Team (IPT)
  3. Earned Value Management (EVM) tasks include: establishment of Work Breakdown Structure for execution of budgeted cost of work scheduled, assessment and maintenance of objective performance criteria, maintenance and justifications of estimates to complete, and support to internal and external reporting requirements for variance analysis.
  4. Funding analysis, cost risk analysis/assessment and visibility report
  5. Preparation or review of government cost performance reports, performance measurement variance analysis, and of estimates to complete
