Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a Project Change Engineer for the Sentinel program in Roy, Utah. This role involves overseeing the development, request, and implementation of changes to the program and technical baseline, ensuring changes are well understood, documented, and executed through approved Change Boards. Responsibilities include developing change request packages, representing them in change boards, ensuring quality standards, coordinating impact assessments, and ensuring approved changes are implemented and closed timely. Requires a Secret clearance, a BS degree in STEM, and experience in technical writing, SOPs/CMPs, and systems engineering principles.

What you'd actually do

  1. Oversee the development, request, and implementation of changes to the Program and technical baseline with a focus on ensuring changes are well understood, documented, and executed through the Program approved Change Boards.
  2. Develop change request packages and represent the package through the change board process
  3. Ensure change request package meets quality standards and is board ready
  4. Coordinate comment follow-up, resolution, and approvals
  5. Coordinate and provide input into impact assessments

Skills

Required

  • US Citizen with an active U.S. Government Secret Clearance
  • Bachelor of Science degree in STEM
  • 1 year of experience writing Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and/or Configuration Management Plans (CMP)
  • 1 year of experience demonstrating System Engineering principles, process, knowledge, practice, and theories
  • 1 year of presentation experience
  • 2 years of experience with MS Office Suite Product(s)
  • 2 years technical writing experience

Nice to have

  • Current DoD Top Secret clearance
  • Experience in a configuration & data management role with knowledge of best practices, tools, procedures
  • Experience demonstrating Model Based Systems Engineering concepts, theories, and tools
  • Experience demonstrating basic principles, concepts, and methodology used in configuration and data management
  • Subcontractor technical oversight experience
  • Project management experience
