This role is for a Sr Principal Cyber Software Engineer on the Sentinel program, focusing on developing software for the Command & Launch (C&L) system. The engineer will work within a DevOps and Agile environment, optimizing systems for security, automation, performance, and availability, while adhering to design, configuration, and architecture standards. The position requires a strong understanding of cybersecurity frameworks and the ability to obtain security clearances.

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor's degree with 8 years of experience, or 6 years with Master's, 4 year with PHD
  • US Citizen with active U.S. Government DoD security clearance (Secret, Top Secret)
  • Ability to obtain Enhanced Security Clearances (SAP)
  • DoD 8140 ISSM Certification Requirements (or ability to meet within 6 months)
  • Experience with NIST Cybersecurity Framework, FedRAMP, PCI DSS, or similar cybersecurity frameworks
  • Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a collaborative team environment

Nice to have

  • 2 years of ISSO/ISSM Experience
  • Working knowledge and understanding of auditing, vulnerability scanning/remediation, DISA STIGs, configuration/change control, and implementation of Risk Management Framework requirements
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • ICBM Experience
  • Current DoD Top Secret security clearance
