Northrop Grumman is seeking a Senior Staff Systems Test Engineer to plan and execute vehicle level integration, test, and checkout activities for the Sentinel program. The role involves defining test requirements, developing documentation, preparing and executing reviews, integrating hardware, developing testing methods, interfacing with developers and engineers, performing data analysis, and compiling data for changes. Responsibilities include synthesizing customer needs into test solutions, developing and directing test plans, coordinating integrated testing, serving as a technical lead, reviewing test requirements, performing system evaluations, and overseeing supplier test activities. Requires a Bachelor's degree with significant experience, an active DoD Secret clearance, strong understanding of product lifecycle and engineering best practices, and technical leadership experience.

What you'd actually do

  1. Define test requirements and test objectives, using Systems Engineering principles
  2. Develop integration and test documentation (test plans, test procedures and test reports)
  3. Prepare for and execute Test Readiness Reviews (TRRs)
  4. Execute the integration, test, and assembly of the AVE in preparation for developmental flight testing
  5. Integrate hardware from sub-system teams, interface with other elements teams, and the system and segment level teams
