Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a Staff Computer Systems Analyst to support the Sentinel program's Production Operation Systems and Technology team. The role serves as the technical SME for Global Supply Chain, Demand Planning, MRP, and Procurement, focusing on implementation, integration, and optimization of MRP-focused information systems. Responsibilities include translating business requirements, ensuring data flow, driving continuous improvement, and providing technical authority. The ideal candidate has a strong foundation in Material Planning, Production Control, and Manufacturing Engineering, with experience in digital manufacturing tools, project management, data analysis, and SAP systems (including S/4 Hana). A U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance and SAP approval are required.

What you'd actually do

  1. Serve as the technical SME for Global Supply Chain - Demand Planning, MRP, and Procurement and serve as the technical authority for the implementation, integration, and optimization of MRP-focused information systems.
  2. Partnering with cross-functional teams, you’ll translate business requirements into robust system solutions, ensure seamless data flow across supply-chain platforms, and drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance operational efficiency and visibility.
  3. Develops cost/risk benefit summaries and recommendations for leadership.
  4. Experience with Project Management and manufacturing schedules Software tools.
  5. Engage and collaborate with programs and functional organizations (from individual contributors to executive staff) to obtain, understand, and interpret manufacturing facilitation and scheduling requirements.
