Staff Systems Engineer role at Northrop Grumman supporting the Sentinel program. What you'd actually do

  1. Lead Integration activities in support of systems-of-systems integration which may include integration test planning, problem identification and reporting, integration event execution, coordination with multiple stakeholders to facilitate effective and efficient communication
  2. Demonstrate leadership principles – Integrity, respect, organizational, communication, etc.
  3. Be proficient in the development of key system engineering artifacts such as requirement specifications and interface definition documents
  4. Ensure appropriate coordination between SEIT and other integration teams
  5. Participate in technical planning, verification and validation development, cost and risk considerations, and requirements analyses for integrated systems

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in STEM with 12 years of experience, or Master's with 10, or PhD with 8
  • Active DoD Secret clearance
  • Ability to obtain SAP clearance
  • 10+ years experience with Agile and Scrum teams
  • 10+ years experience with Product Owner and Product Manager core responsibilities
  • 4+ years experience in ICBM (MMIII or Sentinel) OR complex aerospace/defense systems
  • 2+ years experience on large scale / complex system development across multiple phases
  • Experience with Systems Engineering program milestone events
  • Customer-focused mindset

  • Experience working with external customers
