Manager for Support Equipment OU- SEIT within the Sentinel Program at Northrop Grumman. Responsibilities include leading launch systems efforts, requirements decomposition, integration, testing, digital engineering processes, quality assurance, program performance measurement (EVM), and managing team priorities and contract scope.

What you'd actually do

  1. Lead Launch Systems efforts within the Sentinel Program
  2. Responsible for requirements decomposition and verification.
  3. Responsible for integration within the support and training segments of the weapon system
  4. Integration and Test– Responsible for the integrated testing of equipment, this includes test planning, test execution, and requirements verification of Support Equipment and Major Maintenance Vehicles.
  5. Participate in establishing and direct the implementation of model-based digital engineering processes used in the design and development of the Sentinel support and training systems, at all levels of decomposition.

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) discipline and 8 years of related experience or Master's degree and 6 years of related experience
  • US Citizen with an active DoD Secret Clearance

Nice to have

  • ICBM experience
  • Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) experience
  • Prior experience interfacing with prime contractor site leads and USAF leadership personnel
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience formally leading teams/and or organizations to achieve a common goal.
  • Active DoD TS/SCI clearance
  • Experience leading the performance of tasks on schedule, at cost and achieving all requirements as either project lead, integrated program team or cost account manager
  • Demonstrated effectiveness in achieving results through managing people and understanding and management of internal processes and customer/supplier relationships.
  • Strong understanding and broad application of engineering systems (engineering standards, configuration management, material review board, process control, tooling, facilities, software, etc.)
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, including demonstrated experience with high value customer presentations, with ability to focus on multiple projects with competing priorities
  • Demonstrated experience in making sound decisions in uncertain and difficult situations
  • Strong sense of urgency and work ethic in ensuring engineering meets customer and program expectations in a timely and efficient manner
