What you'd actually do

  1. Collaborate with program IPT counterparts to develop supporting systems engineering and design artifacts.
  2. Work with both technical teams and stakeholders to develop and mature architecture content of large programs design.
  3. Help develop and incorporate the appropriate requirements for the system and ensure that they are properly represented in the model.
  4. Develop systems architecture using Cameo Enterprise Architecture (behavioral, structural, analytical).
  5. Contribute to system requirements development, management, and analysis.

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in STEM
  • 2 years of applicable engineering experience (for level 2)
  • 5 years of related engineering experience (for level 3)
  • Active DoD Secret clearance
  • Ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) approval
  • 1+ year of experience developing or reviewing requirements within DOORS or similar tool (for level 2)
  • 2 years of experience developing or reviewing requirements within DOORS or similar tool (for level 3)
  • 1+ year of experience in ICBM (MMIII or Sentinel) OR complex aerospace/defense systems (for level 2)
  • 2 years of experience in ICBM (MMIII or Sentinel) OR complex aerospace/defense systems (for level 3)

Nice to have

  • Understanding of the Systems Engineering V-Model
  • Experience with requirements management tools such as DOORS
  • Experience in SysML or UPDM modeling languages
  • Proficiency with the DoDAF, UAF, or other modeling frameworks
  • Experience modeling with Cameo Enterprise Architecture, MagicDraw (No Magic, Inc.) or other architecture modeling tools
  • Experience using tools to model large systems with multiple developers
  • Experience in Software and/or Hardware design
