Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a Technical Services Principal Engineer (level 3)/ Technical Services Sr. Principal Engineer (level 4) in support of the Sentinel program. This opening is in Roy, UT and will support the Sentinel Program. Northrop Grumman supports the Air Force’s sustainment, development, production and deployment of hardware and system modifications for Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) Ground and Airborne Launch Control Systems, Launch Facilities, and associated infrastructure.
**What you will get to do: **
Produce ILS Technical Reports, Maintenance Plans, and Training Requirements Documents compliant with appropriate standards. Create and maintain comprehensive sustainment strategies covering maintenance concepts, spare part provisioning, supply chain risk mitigation, and life cycle cost forecasting.
Liaise with engineering, production, logistics, contracting, and customer support teams to align sustainment objectives and resolve issues promptly.
Basic Qualifications:
**Principal Technical Services Engineer: **
- Bachelor's degree and 5 years of experience with Bachelor's degree, 3 years of experience with Master's degree, 0 years of experience with PhD. An additional 4 years of experience maybe used in lieu of a degree.
- Must be a US Citizen with an active DoD Secret Clearance with an investigation date within the last 6 years
- Must have the ability to obtain a U.S. Government DoD Top Secret security clearance.
- Must be able to be successfully screened for Enhanced Security Clearances, within a reasonable amount of time as determined by the company to meet its business needs
- 1 year of experience with a sustainment or development program.
**Sr. Principal Technical Services Engineer: **
- Bachelor's degree and 8 years of experience with bachelor’s degree, 6 years of experience with master’s degree, 4 years of experience with PhD. An additional 4 years of experience may be used in lieu of a degree.
- Must be a US Citizen with an** active DoD Secret Clearance** with an investigation date within the last 6 years
- Must be able to be successfully screened for Enhanced Security Clearances, within a reasonable amount of time as determined by the company to meet its business needs
- 3 years of experience with a sustainment or development program.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Understanding of Product Support processes.
- Experience with Sentinel program.
- Experience with ICBM programs.

This position's standard work schedule is 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.

Primary Level Salary Range: $89,400.00 - $134,200.00
Secondary Level Salary Range: $111,700.00 - $167,500.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
