This role focuses on analyzing knowledge and skill gaps to identify training requirements and develop learning solutions and training products for technical disciplines within the Sentinel program. It involves designing and developing various training materials, staying updated on learning theories and industry standards, and potentially overseeing contractors. The role requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field, 5 years of experience, and the ability to obtain a Secret clearance.

What you'd actually do

  1. Demonstrates comprehensive expertise in analyzing and evaluating knowledge and skill gaps to identify training requirements and develop appropriate learning solutions
  2. Design and develop training products for multiple modalities, including online, in-person, hybrid, as well as synchronous and asynchronous formats
  3. Develop a comprehensive suite of training materials—including instructor-led sessions, microlearning modules, interactive online courses, and on-the-job qualification/certification programs—with minimal supervision
  4. Curriculum design experience utilizing current SCORM standards Technical and creative writing; developing technical training CDRLs
  5. Stay at the forefront of training research, continuously monitoring emerging learning theories, software tools, and industry standards and translating insights into strategic enhancements

Skills

Required

  • Bachelors of Science in Instructional Systems Design, Instructional Technology, Human Performance, Training and Learning Development, Psychology, Marketing, or related field, with 5 Years of related experience with a Bachelors of Science; 3 Years with a Masters degree; 1 Year with PhD
  • Must have U.S. Citizenship with the ability to obtain U.S. DoD Secret Level clearance
  • Experience designing and developing learning materials for technical disciplines
  • Experience developing technology-based learning products
  • Experience creating formative and summative evaluations for technical disciplines
  • Experience in conducting training evaluations in accordance with Kirkpatrick 4 levels of evaluation and Phillips 5 levels of evaluation
  • Experience working in ADDIE and other training development models for technical disciplines
  • Experience applying adult learning theories and process-driven instructional design principles
  • Ability to travel 10% of the time
