GEICO is seeking an SEO & AI Search Content Writer for their Commercial Insurance sector. This role involves creating high-quality content using AI-assisted tools to drive traffic, engagement, and conversions. The writer will focus on traditional SEO, Generative Engine Optimization (GEO), and Answer Engine Optimization (AEO), collaborating with various teams to ensure content aligns with brand voice, marketing objectives, and search trends. Responsibilities include content development, AI integration for workflow streamlining, SEO/GEO/AEO strategy, performance analysis, and staying updated on AI advancements.

What you'd actually do

  1. Create and deliver high-quality, strategic copy for the Commercial insurance business, including landing pages, blog posts, long-form SEO articles and more, tailored to the target audience.
  2. Utilize AI-powered tools to streamline content creation workflows, generate ideas, and optimize outputs while maintaining brand voice and high-quality standards.
  3. Develop content that adheres to traditional SEO principles (e.g., keyword optimization, on-page SEO) and incorporate emerging GEO/AEO strategies to meet search intent and perform effectively on voice search and answer engines.
  4. Track, analyze, and report on the performance of Commercial insurance-focused SEO content efforts. Use data-driven insights to refine strategies, improve results, and adapt messaging based on customer behavior and search trends.
  5. Review and refine AI-generated content for tone, consistency, and effectiveness, ensuring all outputs meet brand, high-quality, and SEO and GEO/AEO standards.

Skills

Required

  • 4–6 years of professional copywriting experience, preferably within an agency or in-house creative team, with a strong portfolio showcasing diverse work across digital formats.
  • Proven experience in creating SEO-driven content, including keyword optimization, on-page SEO, and a solid understanding of search intent, topical depth, and structured formatting.
  • Strong understanding of emerging GEO and AEO strategies, with experience in optimizing content for LLMs, structuring information to align with answer engine algorithms, and meeting modern search intent.
  • Demonstrated experience using AI-powered tools to enhance content creation workflows, ideation, and optimization.
  • Strong ability to translate marketing briefs and strategic concepts into clear, engaging, and impactful written content tailored to specific audience needs.
  • Experience tracking and analyzing content performance.
