This role focuses on SEO outreach and backlink building, with an emphasis on leveraging AI tools to enhance productivity in research, communication drafting, and data analysis. The goal is to improve Canva's search rankings and visibility in Vietnam.

What you'd actually do

  1. Link building is evolving fast : LLMs are changing how authority signals work, and what earned placements yesterday might not work tomorrow. This role requires someone who can balance proven tactics with experimentation, adapt quickly, and think beyond just securing backlinks.
  2. You'll build high-quality backlinks for priority landing pages in Vietnam while exploring brand mention opportunities.
  3. You'll report to both your Vietnam SEO Country Lead and the Global Outreach Lead, executing local strategy while contributing to global coordination.
  4. You're not just executing a list handed to you. You're expected to be proactive, spotting opportunities, proposing optimizations, contributing to strategy discussions, and solving problems resourcefully.
  5. Success means delivering measurable authority growth that improves Canva's rankings and search visibility, helping more local users discover Canva and contributing to the country's market penetration goal.

Skills

Required

  • Native Vietnamese speaker
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Experience in SEO, link building, or digital marketing
  • Familiarity with SEO tools and analytics platforms
  • Ability to work independently and proactively
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
