Service Area Manager for MWM (Caterpillar) gas engines and generator sets, focusing on leading commercial and technical service operations, customer relations, financial control, and compliance for delivered equipment.

What you'd actually do

  1. Service Management: Lead day-to-day operations for defined customers and channels. Ensure efficient communication with clients and internal teams.
  2. Time Management: Prioritize effectively and plan business trips to customers or headquarters (Mannheim/Schwaz) with supervisor approval.
  3. Technical & Warranty Oversight: Coordinate technical issues, warranty claims, and goodwill cases with internal experts. Prepare technical reports.
  4. EHS Leadership: Promote and enforce EHS culture. Support audits and ensure safety on-site service activities.
  5. Financial Control: Monitor customer payments and working capital. Track service, warranty, and goodwill cost allocations.
