Service Engineer – Npi & Product Improvement

Service Engineer role focused on new product introduction (NPI) and continuous product improvement (CPI) for industrial equipment. Responsibilities include leading parts authorization and readiness, developing technical knowledge in parts processes, serviceability, and stocking, and working with global teams to meet approval-to-ship targets and ensure parts availability. The role involves reviewing manufacturing processes, gathering feedback to improve product serviceability, and producing technical specifications and work instructions.

What you'd actually do

  1. Develop and maintain procedures and plans to support product quality, reviewing outcomes to identify functional gaps and drive corrective actions where required.
  2. Review manufacturing and production processes to identify design or build issues, working with stakeholders to improve efficiency, quality, and repeatability.
  3. Gather and assess internal and external feedback to identify opportunities to improve product serviceability and support continuous product improvement.
  4. Produce clear technical specifications and work instructions, and track activities from concept through release to ensure quality, performance, and delivery targets are met.
