Service Reliability Lead (network Engineer Level Iii)

This role is for a Service Reliability Lead in Network Engineering for AT&T's Global Public Sector, supporting the Intelligence Community. The lead will manage a team responsible for incident and problem management within a complex communications network, focusing on training, mentoring, resource management, quality control, and technical advisement. The role involves collaborating with various stakeholders to resolve network issues, drive process improvements, and ensure compliance with standards. A TS/SCI with Poly clearance is required, along with significant experience in network reliability, incident/problem management, and Layer 1/2 networking concepts.

What you'd actually do

  1. Responsible for leading a team of 6-10 geographically dispersed FTE’s accountable for the execution of the incident and problem management processes within a complex and robust Intelligence Community communications network.
  2. Responsible for the training, mentoring, development, and accountability of all personnel assigned to the team.
  3. Responsible for management of personnel and material resources to ensure tasks and services met or exceed contract SLO/SLA’s in compliance with the contract SOW and QASP.
  4. Responsible for the oversight of individual and team efficiency and effectiveness by developing and implementing local quality control processes to inspect, measure, and implement solutions to drive performance.
  5. Serves as the technical advisor and Program representative at Site meetings, Program meetings, and Technical Exchanges ensuring programmatic equities are accounted for while balancing the needs of the site, customer, and enterprise.

Skills

Required

  • 16 years of experience (combination of work history and education)
  • DoD 8140 Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level 2 compliance
  • Experience leading technical teams of 4-10 FTE’s
  • Experience in Network Incident and Problem Management
  • Experience troubleshooting network issues
  • Experience with Layer 1 and 2 networking concepts
  • Working knowledge of ServiceNow or similar IT Service Management (ITSM) products
