This role provides operational HR support within Uber's HR Shared Services (HRSS) team. Responsibilities include handling HR inquiries, managing employee data in HRIS and CRM systems, adjudicating background checks, and contributing to process improvement. The role requires strong communication, data integrity, and customer service skills, with experience in HR or customer support environments.

What you'd actually do

  1. Provide flexible support across HRSS queues, addressing new cases and backlogs based on business needs, volume spikes, and priority requirements.
  2. Maintain and update employee data in Uber's Human Capital Management (HCM) and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems with a high level of accuracy. Process data changes such as job updates, organizational changes, and compensation adjustments while ensuring proper documentation and compliance.
  3. Review and assess background check results, ensuring alignment with guidelines. Investigate discrepancies and coordinate with relevant stakeholders as needed.
  4. Respond to employee inquiries through ticketing systems, escalate issues when necessary, and collaborate with stakeholders for resolution. Ensure adherence to SLAs, data integrity, and compliance standards.
  5. Identify trends and contribute actionable insights to help improve processes and enhance the overall employee experience.
