This role is for a ServiceNow Architect at RTX, an Aerospace and Defense company. The architect will design and deliver technology solutions, focusing on L3/L4 production support and enhancements for ServiceNow. Responsibilities include leading technical aspects of project delivery, developing POCs, mentoring development teams, driving release and change management, implementing process improvements, contributing to roadmaps, and providing retrieval capabilities for employee data. The role requires a Bachelor's degree and 8 years of experience with full-cycle ServiceNow implementation, ITSM, platform security, integrations (REST/SOAP), Service Portal, Angular JS, core applications (incident, problem, change, knowledge, service catalog), Web Technologies, SaaS environments, and HR technology platforms like Workday. Experience with Agile methodologies and Test Automation is preferred.

What you'd actually do

  1. Own and drive L3/L4 production support / enhancements with support/dev team members, business stakeholders, platform team and vendors
  2. Lead technical aspects of project delivery by collaborating with functional teams, business units, vendors and partners
  3. Develop POCs and present solution options to senior leadership to help solve complex business problems
  4. Establish high standards and act as the mentor to the development teams
  5. Drive release management and change management processes
