DoorDash is seeking a Shift Lead for their DashMart fulfillment center. This role involves managing daily operations, including warehouse and kitchen processes, inventory management, and ensuring customer orders are fulfilled accurately and with high quality. The Shift Lead will guide operations associates, serve as an escalation point, and contribute to operational improvements. The role requires physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and obtain a food handling certificate.

What you'd actually do

  1. Take ownership of your assigned shifts, including warehouse and kitchen processes, safety/cleanliness, quality, and training.
  2. Ensure customer orders are delivered with high quality by executing orders accurately, communicating with customers when issues arise, and making sure Dasher pickups go smoothly.
  3. Guide Operations Associates through their shift by ensuring the team works safely and productively and serving as the point of escalation for daily operations.
  4. Support operations in both the warehouse and kitchen, assist with day-to-day tasks, and lead by example.
  5. Contribute ideas to improve our quality and customer experience.

Skills

Required

  • Self-motivated, positive, and a team player
  • High integrity
  • Experience in food and beverage, warehouse, and/or retail environments
  • Ability to be on your feet and move heavy products
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Ability to operate a pallet jack and hand truck
  • Ability and desire to obtain and maintain a food handling certificate
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • At least 18 years of age
  • Organized
  • Proficient in Google Docs and Google Sheets
  • Flexibility in schedule

Nice to have

  • College diploma
