Your Responsibilities
As a Shipping Coordinator for JD Parts Dist Center located in Milan, IL, you will:
- Utilizing systems (SAP, TRAKKER, etc.) to manage orders, billing, and shipment tracking.
- Monitoring order flow and prioritizing work (DSO/FLASH/DRP/EXP) as needed.
- Reconciling shipping discrepancies and resolving delinquent or delayed orders.
- Coordinating with carriers and logistics partners to manage pickups and delivery timelines.
- Ensuring compliance with shipping standards, including packaging, documentation, and hazardous materials regulations.

What Skills You Need
- Position opening is on 3rd Shift.
- 1 or more years of experience warehousing experience with materials management, transportation, shipping and receiving.
- Uses clear and effective verbal communications skills without supervision and provides technical guidance when required on expressing ideas, requesting actions and formulating plans or policies.
- Supports business processes without supervision by understanding and effectively using standard office equipment and standard software packages, while providing technical guidance as needed.
- Works under guidance (but not constant supervision) to analyze data trends for use in reports to help guide decision making.
- Understanding of employee policies, practices, procedures, and work rules appropriate for the unit.
- Experience leading issue resolution amongst a cross-functional team.
- Ability to work weekends/overtime as needed to support production.
