Short-form Video & Social, Community Comms

Stripe Stripe · Fintech · United States · 2413 Communications

Stripe is looking for a producer to lead their short-form video strategy, focusing on creating insightful and high-quality content for founders, developers, and economists. The role involves owning YouTube and Instagram channels, editing clips, managing the publishing process, experimenting with formats, advising on video content creation, commissioning animations, analyzing performance data, and reporting on social media metrics. The ideal candidate has strong editorial judgment, experience managing creative projects, and a deep understanding of sophisticated audiences.

What you'd actually do

  1. Own Stripe’s YouTube channel and Instagram Reels, focused on providing additive insight to our core community of founders, developers, and thinkers.
  2. Edit clips from Stripe’s long-form content (e.g., Cheeky Pint, firesides from Stripe Sessions and Tours), with an exceptional eye for the most salient moments and nuanced arguments.
  3. Manage the end-to-end publishing process, including writing sharp, SEO-optimized titles and descriptions that speak to an intelligent audience.
  4. Continuously run experiments with formats, narrative structures, and editing styles (e.g., archival b-roll and graphic overlays) to discover what resonates most strongly.
  5. Advise partner teams developing video content (e.g., teams running webinars or events featuring Stripe customers) on how to optimize recordings and edits for the internet.
