Signal and Power Integrity Engineer - New College Grad 2026

NVIDIA NVIDIA · Semiconductors · Austin, TX +1

NVIDIA is seeking a Signal & Power Integrity Engineer with a strong technical background in applied electromagnetics, waveguides, transmission line theory, and signal processing. The role involves crafting creative Signal Integrity solutions, modeling and optimizing system components, performing high-speed simulations, and improving SI models using lab measurements. Responsibilities include creating SI guidelines, simulation automation, and working cross-functionally to optimize package, PCB, and ASIC designs. Requires an MS/PhD in ECE or equivalent, familiarity with SI concepts, and hands-on use of 3D modeling tools and measurement equipment. Scripting skills and knowledge of Python are beneficial.

What you'd actually do

  1. Work on crafting creative Signal Integrity solutions to complex system design problems.
  2. Modeling and Optimization of vias, connectors, sockets, breakouts and various system components in 3D EM tools.
  3. System-level signal integrity simulations of high-speed NVlink 200Gbs+, USB-4, PCIe5, GDDR6, LP5X and other interfaces.
  4. Constant improvements of SI models using data from lab measurements and/or modelling tool/methodology updates.
  5. Substrate and board layout SI guidelines creation, review and post layout SI extractions.
