Silicon Design Engineer (asic/ip/soc Design Verification)

This role is for a Silicon Design Engineer focused on ASIC/IP/SOC design verification at AMD. The primary responsibilities involve pre-silicon verification quality and providing technical leadership to the DV team for new Southbridge projects. While AI is mentioned as a preferred experience for debugging/analysis, the core function of the role is in hardware design verification, not AI model development.

What you'd actually do

  1. Work with team members and apply current functional verification techniques to perform and improve pre-silicon verification quality and product Time to Market for Southbridge
  2. Provide the technical leadership to the DV team for the new Southbridge project
  3. Work independently on various DV tasks and provide technical guidance to the DV team.
  4. Be involved technically in the porting/creation of the DV environment for the new design, block and chip level test plan creation and implementation, coverage analysis, and regression cleanup
