Silicon Design Verification Engineer

Intel Intel · Semiconductors · Bangalore, India

This role focuses on the functional logic verification of integrated SoCs, ensuring they meet specifications. Responsibilities include developing verification plans, test benches, and environments, executing these plans using emulation and simulation, debugging issues, and collaborating with design and architecture teams. The role also involves leveraging post-silicon learnings to improve future products.

What you'd actually do

  1. Perform functional logic verification of integrated SoCs to ensure compliance with specifications.
  2. Define and develop scalable, reusable verification plans, test benches, and environments at the block, subsystem, and SoC levels.
  3. Execute verification plans and utilize emulation and system simulation models to validate design, analyze power and performance, and uncover bugs.
  4. Replicate, root cause, and debug issues in the presilicon environment, implementing corrective measures to resolve failing tests.
  5. Document verification test plans and drive technical reviews with design and architecture teams.
