Site Solutions Manager

The Site Solutions Manager role is part of Caterpillar's Customer Facing team, focused on developing and implementing tailored solutions for customers in Africa, the Middle East, Eurasia, and Latin America. This role involves working with customers and dealers to improve product and service performance, conducting site assessments, deploying technology, and acting as a technical resource during the sales cycle. The goal is to solve customer pain points, accelerate decision-making, and improve customer outcomes by leveraging a wide range of offerings including digital and technology solutions.

What you'd actually do

  1. Works with customers, dealers, commercial, product support and field service management to develop and implement procedures designed to improve product and service performance.
  2. Monitors, manages, reports on, and resolves issues related to customer satisfaction, product health, and future solutions needs. Interfaces with appropriate stakeholders to improve site efficacy.
  3. Conducts site assessments and deploys technology and other solutions to meet customer needs and solves their problems.
  4. Assists the sales team by acting as a technical resource during the sales cycle for national or major accounts. Assisting in contract or service agreement negotiations as needed.
  5. Establishes guidelines and defines standards for on-site technical support. Tracking service requests from initiation to completion and monitoring staff performance to ensure guidelines are met consistently.
