This is an internship position for transitioning service members through the Northrop Grumman Military Internship Program (SkillBridge). The role focuses on Electrical Ground Support Equipment (EGSE) for launch vehicles, involving design, test, and sustainment of hardware. Responsibilities include applying electrical engineering standards, participating in design reviews, adapting heritage designs, and supporting team goals.

What you'd actually do

  1. Based on specific objectives, work with a system electrical engineering team to perform analysis, design, and test of complex “system level” designs with a focus on the electrical ground support equipment and test support equipment for the launch vehicle.
  2. Broad understanding and application of company electrical engineering technical standards.
  3. Prepares and presents electrical engineering materials for Requirements and Design Reviews.
  4. With minimal guidance, studies basic design concepts and criteria for more complex problems.
  5. Applies electrical engineering principles to adapt or improve upon heritage features from previous successful designs of a similar nature.
