What you'd actually do

  1. Draft and interpret detailed drawings for fabrication.
  2. Fabricate, assemble, and install mechanical, electromechanical, and electronic components or assemblies.
  3. Set up and conduct prototype unit and subsystem tests under operational conditions.
  4. Analyze test data, identify issues, and recommend modifications.
  5. Support critical space flight hardware integration with high attention to detail and safety.
