This role is a Skilling Strategy Manager within Microsoft's Delivery and Program Operations team. Responsibilities include acting as a strategic account manager, developing skilling plans, managing the rhythm of business for skilling initiatives, engaging stakeholders, and reporting on the impact of skilling programs. The role requires experience in learning and development, business strategy, and stakeholder management, but it is not directly involved in the creation or deployment of AI/ML models.

  2. Championing Scale - Design strategies that prioritize high-impact initiatives while achieving balance between scalability and the agility to adapt to evolving business needs.
  3. Drive Impactful skilling strategies - Develop comprehensive skilling plans that align stakeholders, measure effectiveness, and adapt to meet organizational goals and evolving needs.
  4. Serve as the primary account manager for core business stakeholders.
  5. Align skilling strategy to business priorities with actionable plans.

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • 2+ years of experience in learning and development, relevant technical roles, business development, field or sales, HR, customer success, collection management, research/restoration evaluation, industry, or program/project management, corporate education

Nice to have

  • 3+ years of experience translating business priorities into scalable skilling strategies aligned to organizational goals and measurable outcomes
  • 3+ years of experience in stakeholder management and executive influence skills, including experience partnering across sales, product, marketing, and enablement teams
  • 4+ years of experience in learning strategy development, including needs analysis, role-based skilling, and capability gap iden
