Salesforce is seeking a Growth Marketing Senior Manager for Slack's self-serve business in Japan. This role focuses on maximizing revenue by designing and optimizing the customer experience from activation to upsell, bridging Product-Led Growth (PLG) and sales strategies. The position involves defining Product Qualified Leads (PQLs), executing Japan-specific growth experiments, exploring new channels like LLM-driven search and AI tools, and collaborating with global teams. The ideal candidate has deep SaaS expertise, a proven track record in revenue growth, holistic funnel design abilities, strong stakeholder management skills, and native Japanese and business-level English proficiency.

What you'd actually do

  1. Drive Activation: Design sophisticated email nurtures and in-app triggers to ensure new teams reach the "Aha! Moment" in the early stage of adoption.
  2. Monetization & Upsell Optimization: Leverage behavioral data (e.g., message volume, app integrations) to deliver "omotenashi"-style (hospitable/proactive) content and conversion paths that highlight the value of premium features at the perfect moment.
  3. Define PQLs (Product Qualified Leads): Build the framework to identify high-potential customers—distinguishing between those ready for automated upsell and those requiring a touchpoint from Sales.
  4. Strategic Localization: Move beyond simple translation. Adapt onboarding flows, pricing pages, and customer stories to align with Japanese business etiquette and organizational culture through rigorous A/B testing.
  5. Next-Gen Channel Expansion: Explore frontier acquisition channels, including LLM-driven search experiences and AI-integrated marketing tools, alongside traditional SEO and Paid Media.
