Canva is seeking an SMB Account Executive for their DACH region in London. The role involves owning a book of SMB prospects, managing the full sales cycle, and contributing to revenue generation. Responsibilities include outbound sales activities, understanding customer needs, presenting Canva's value proposition, building client relationships, collaborating with internal teams, and meeting sales targets. The ideal candidate has a proven track record in outbound sales or account management, strong sales acumen, a results-oriented mindset, and fluency in German. Familiarity with CRM and outreach software is required, and prior experience in tech, SaaS sales, or working with SMB clients is a plus. The role is part of the Sales and Success team supporting Canva Enterprise, which includes their AI platform, Studio.

What you'd actually do

  1. You’ll conduct outbound sales activities to identify, prospect, and engage with SMB clients.
  2. You’ll develop a deep understanding of SMB customers' needs, pain points, and objectives to tailor Canva's solutions effectively.
  3. You’ll proactively reach out to potential SMB clients via phone, email, and other channels to present Canva's value proposition and product offerings.
  4. You’ll build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with SMB clients through regular communication, follow-up, and exceptional customer service.
  5. You’ll collaborate closely with internal teams, including Sales & Success, Marketing, and Product, to optimise the sales process and ensure a seamless customer experience.

Skills

Required

  • Proven track record of success in outbound sales or account management roles, preferably in a B2B or SMB-focused environment.
  • Strong sales acumen with excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Results-oriented mindset with a passion for driving revenue growth and delivering exceptional customer experiences.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritise tasks, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
  • Familiarity with CRM and outreach software (e.g., Salesforce, Outreach IO, Sales Navigator and Gong)
  • Fluent in German.
