Uber Eats is looking for a business leader and account manager to drive business growth and innovation for SMB restaurants in Japan. This role involves managing the end-to-end experience of key restaurant partners, building strong relationships, identifying market opportunities, and achieving sales targets. Requires 3+ years of sales or account management experience in high-growth companies, data-driven decision-making, and fluency in Japanese.

What you'd actually do

  1. Build and maintain long-term, strong relationships with restaurant partners
  2. Understand partner needs and challenges, and provide appropriate support
  3. Quickly identify issues from a data-driven perspective and provide necessary resources or support
  4. Collaborate with managers and leadership teams to build the future of the SMB organization in Japan
  5. Achieve monthly/quarterly sales targets or exceed them

Skills

Required

  • 3+ years of sales or account management experience in high-growth companies
  • Solution sales experience
  • Data analysis and performance metric-based decision making
  • Japanese fluency

Nice to have

  • Experience in the Japanese food industry or a broad network
  • Understanding of SaaS, internet advertising, or marketplace businesses
  • Project management experience involving cross-functional stakeholders
  • English proficiency for reading and writing, with a desire to improve skills
