Salesforce is seeking an SMB Prime Account Executive for MuleSoft to help small and medium-sized businesses grow using the full Salesforce Customer 360 Platform. The role involves connecting with business leaders, building and managing a sales pipeline, and collaborating with internal teams to drive revenue. While the company emphasizes AI and AI agents, this role is customer-facing sales and does not involve building or shipping AI models.

What you'd actually do

  1. Connect with business leaders to understand their challenges and show how MuleSoft and Salesforce can help them grow
  2. Build and manage a pipeline of new and existing customers, from first conversation to closed deal
  3. Partner with C-suite decision-makers to match their business needs to the right solutions across multiple lines of business
  4. Collaborate with a large internal team — including solution engineers and product experts — to build winning strategies for your customers

Skills

Required

  • Experience in a customer-facing sales role, managing the full sales cycle from prospecting to close
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex ideas clearly and simply
  • Experience working directly with clients or customers in a professional setting
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and navigate a large extended team

Nice to have

  • 2-5 years of full-cycle sales experience, with at least 1 year in a field sales role and a proven track record of hitting goals
  • Experience selling to senior leaders and C-suite executives
  • Ability to build a business case and demonstrate clear return on investment (ROI) to customers
  • Experience managing and growing both existing accounts and new logo relationships
