This role is for a Subject Matter Expert in Data Center Commissioning and Quality, focusing on MEP systems. The position involves overseeing construction projects, ensuring quality standards, and collaborating with various stakeholders. It requires extensive experience in data center infrastructure and commissioning processes.

What you'd actually do

  1. Operate with safety at the forefront of all construction initiatives.
  2. As necessary, collaborate with general contractors, trade partners, and vendors.
  3. Serve as a liaison between clients and internal teams, facilitating communication during commissioning activities.
  4. Review all written documentation, commissioning, and quality-related information.
  5. Assist in developing, reviewing, and implementing commissioning plans as needed.

Skills

Required

  • 5+ years of experience in MEP commissioning
  • Experience in data centers or critical facility environments
  • Comprehensive understanding of data center infrastructure
  • Familiarity with local building codes and industry-standard frameworks (NEC, NFPA, IEEE, ASHRAE)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience with industry-standard commissioning software or digital platforms
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to develop and maintain effective professional relationships
  • Direct experience in the coordination, commissioning, or quality assurance of electrical and low-voltage equipment
  • Valid driver’s license and insurable motor vehicle record
  • Willingness to travel up to 50%
  • Ability to respond to emergency communications outside of standard business hours
