What you'd actually do

  1. Define, develop, and execute functional validation for integrated SoCs, focusing on IP integration, IP interactions, and system-level features.
  2. Apply hardware and software validation tools and methodologies to ensure comprehensive coverage while meeting performance, power, and area goals.
  3. Review and assess proposed design changes to evaluate their impact on validation plans, tasks, and timelines.
  4. Develop SoC validation methodologies, create detailed test plans, and collaborate with engineering teams to troubleshoot issues and optimize designs.
  5. Perform silicon debug to identify root causes, analyze complex failures, and resolve functional and triage issues for SoC designs.
