Soc Functional Validation Engineer

This role focuses on post-silicon validation of Intel's next-generation platforms, including CPUs and chipsets. Responsibilities involve leading debug tests, identifying and root-causing failures, developing validation test suites, and creating validation tools and automation methodologies. The role requires strong debugging skills and familiarity with hardware lab equipment and debuggers.

What you'd actually do

  1. Lead and perform debug test to identify failures in platform which may include CPU, chipset, board level and others
  2. Lead and perform hands-on debug on platform debug and deep IP debug by root causing failures and identifying failing components, which may include CPU, chipset, board level and others
  3. Developing validation/ test suites and driving continuous improvement into existing validation test suites and methodologies
  4. Designing and developing validation tools to support latest validation technologies and methodologies including validation automation, BIOS, platform driver, debug tool and others
